Recently, DeadBeef installed by default on Mabox has been removed from the Arch Linux repositories.
I think it’s a good time to choose a different default music player for Mabox. Hence this poll. What’s your favorite audio player?
Of course, DeadBeef can still be installed from AUR

My favourite music player is cmus, I also like Qmmp, but here is more good alternatives:
Juk – simple and lightweight music player from KDE
Sayonara Player – probably most configurable music player I’ve ever seen
Pragha Music Player – very similar to Juk, but is based on GTK

Seems Audacity has won the poll… Interesting to see that Rhythmbox (which can be found on several distros) doesn’t get any vote.

Do you mean Audacious? Audacity is the one for audio editing.

Hi @Geoffrey , one could add a stream to audacious or pyradio or …
$ audacious https://dispatcher.rndfnk.com/hr/hr3/live/mp3/high?aggregator=radiolisten-de
One of my fav stations is Somafm. And created links to audacious on auto-hide panel.
One reason why i rather use a player above the ‘somafm’ website, has to do with tracking my behavior on the web. I am a bit privacy focused.
