I like this simple understated Crunchbang-esque one best. I had to remove the logo in the lower right as it was only partially covered up by a conflicting theme that I chose with another Mabox logo.
I never use Gimp - much more complexity than I will ever need. For most things, my preferred lightweight MS-Paint-style programs, Kolourpaint (QT) or Drawing (GTK) get the job done for most simple image mods.
