Technical Issues and Assistance
Hi i hope this is in the right place as i dont frequent here very often. At the moment I can connect with ssh on a designated port. but when i am poking around on the remote machine every attempt to get the vncserver service running has failed. I have tried purging and reinstalling. I redid the service target file.
another wierdness -
echo $XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP returns nothing neofetch doesnt display my current de ( which should be the stock DE that comes with mabox) . i wonder if an upgrade did not go through successfully.
but i also did this
sudo systemctl daemon-reload
sudo systemctl enable vncserver@:1.service
sudo systemctl start vncserver@:1.service
sudo systemctl status vncserver@:1.service
but this returns with error.
