Terminator background image feature don't work

In Terminator:RightClick->Preferences->Profiles->Background setting there is an option to have Background Image for terminal window. It doesn’t work. Any type of image file, from PNG to Jpeg, doesn’t work. Only what this option does, it makes background transparent. Resizing window does nothing.
I did not find any solution to that via google search, so thanks if you can help. :smile:

btw, other terminal emulators like kitty .etc have no problem with background images

Works for me. The only inconvenience is that it doesn’t work for the current terminal, but if you open more terminals or split your current terminal the new settings apply.

Seems I broke something on my setup, because background images work in virtual box with the freshest iso. :frowning_face: . thanks for help btw
