Save dialog Alt+s keyboard shortcut lost in KDE

In good old days a universal convention about keyboard shortcuts was honored, that in dialogs pressing Alt key would underscore a letter in each action item to activate that item. This is still very much the case, in both Firefox and KDE apps Alt+F brings up a File menu with letters highighted in action items. In Firefox a brings up the ‘save as’ dialog and there with Alt key the s letter in save button is underscored and it works. In all KDE apps, since some years now, they decided that in that save dialog the Alt+s shortcut shall now activate a search function, which is not only completely meaningless in that context but also takes you out of your current context and makes it so dificult to get back that I have to restart the process. It keeps annoying me and intruding in my workflow, so I would appreciate if any one can direct me where I can go with this issue. I realize it is likely not a MaBox issue, but after searching the Manjaro forums I decided to ask here if you know anything about it, since this is a very helpful place and you care about usability, thank you.
