Pacman Stable?

This is not an issue but a question of wonder. My fastfetch results on my install states:

Packages: 1044 (pacman)[stable]

Why is pacman considered “stable” when I thought the majority of Arch based distros are rolling? Again, not an issue, just a curiousity. Thanks!

This refers to the stable branch of Manjaro - on which Mabox is based.
There are three Manjaro branches:

  • unstable (daily Arch)
  • testing
  • stable
