No sound on acer switch 10E bytcr-rt5640

Hello
I just installed this amazing distro on the old 2in1 device and with only 2 GB Ram it’s fantastic…everything works except…sound…through speakers or headphones I get nothing.
Tried alsamixer to select soundcard but it gives no sound and reverts to default
Anybody could help please?

Hello @giukas ,
Perhaps what pablo1 posted at 2018-06-07 09:43:15 (No sound on bytcr-rt5640 card with Pulseaudio / Kernel & Hardware / Arch Linux Forums) may help https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=237790

Thank you I’ll try that today

No luck unfortunately. Very schizzo behavior: file plays, but no sound; then reboot, sound cRkard muted, no way to unmute; in alsamixer speakers seem ok, but L and R alone stay on 00.

My next google hit is:
insert use_ucm=no into /etc/pulse/default.pa
load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0 fixed_latency_range=yes use_ucm=no

Thank you very much I installed on another netbook and everything is fine
