i like that yellow menu,
is it part of a Theme or do i have to somehow set it?

There are many “menu/sidepanels themes” provided by Mabox. You can play with them by Left sidepanel ctrl+super+Left → Random menu colorscheme…
I like to play sometimes also with Random Wallpaper
