After changing

out+=("   $EDIT,xdg-open $CONFFILE")
    if hash picom-conf 2>&1 >/dev/null

to…

out+=("   $EDIT,xdg-open $CONFFILE")
    if hash /usr/bin/picom-conf 2>&1 >/dev/null

[napcok]
