I really thank you for this post.
I know you guys like dark styles, but my tired eyes cannot hold it for long periods. I prefer a lighter scheme.
So, I will change the appearance to my needs. Thank you for explaining the whole thing!

I think Mabox really need some good looking light theme.
I tried to make one several times… but due to my lack of talent, and good taste about colors they were so ugly 
I am crossing my fingers for you to create some nice theme.
Please share it if you are satisfied with the effect.
Maybe together we can create some nice predefined light theme for future Mabox releases
