Good Old Games - now at low prices

Even though I’m not a gamer, I still enjoy playing some good old games from time to time.

Today, while browsing GOG.com, I found a few cool old games that I know run natively on Linux. The prices are currently very attractive. And then came my sweet moment… I bought 7 titles

I plan to run them all natively, one by one - without using Steam or Wine.
I don’t know how long it will take, but I’ll try to write a short how-to for each game.

If you are a fan of old games, it is worth checking out gog.com now - until November 24th, many cool games are at low prices.

My purchases from today

And, unlike Steam, GOG guarantees you can keep the games forever.

Yes, that’s a great thing.

It’s also essential to me that you can play all of these games natively on Linux. This is possible thanks to the modern, open-source engines created for these games.

Two more titles have been added to my collection

Duke Nukem 3D (from Zoom Platform)
and
Doom 3 from GOG ( price -60% at the moment)
