Hi. Really liking the look of Mabox so far but wanted to mention one small issue.
I think it is great that you install espanso by default - it is such a useful app and not having to set it up manually is a nice touch. EXCEPT, you have included the legacy version which is no longer under development.
Is there a reason for this? It is simple enough to upgrade, but the new releases use a different config system which can cause a few problems if you move from one to the other.
Yes, I am aware of this issue.
The problem is that the format (and location) of the configuration files have changed. I don’t want to force an update that could break functionality for users.
At this point I don’t have a good idea on how to deliver the update.
The authors of Espanso suggest installing using Appimage, Espanso is also available in the AUR…
Personally, I still use the Legacy version - which is completely sufficient for my needs.
I think the best way to update Espanso at this point is to do it yourself.
