Hi, sorry for my ignorance here. After I apply a theme, why do a few applications have different size titlebars and controls top-right? Things like Firefox, Add/Remove Software to name two.

Such a modern trend… (forced by GTK/GNOME developers?)
The creators of these applications know better what you need.
Their target platform is mobile devices (tablets, phones).
In Firefox, you can still set normal (system) window decorations for now…
Right-click on the toolbar or tab bar in Firefox and select “Customize Toolbar…” option. It’ll open toolbar customize window. 2. Now look for “Title Bar” checkbox option present at the bottom-left corner of Customize window
