Finally the version I was working for.
Samenvatting
Created this post to cleanup the subject.
Final release (i think:)
Really nice to dive into it.
I am happy with the result.

Hi @muzqs
Do you like it to be included with the upcoming next Mabox Jaskier release?
@napcok .
Are you serious. I would be honoured.
Small update:
Here are my current settings for sgs
. The gradient looks much better now. I’m unsure whether to add this to the menu or leave it as something users can adjust manually.
The defaults from the sample config are set to points = 3
and passes = 1
:
visualizer.sgs.smoothing.points = 19
visualizer.sgs.smoothing.passes = 10
These values seem too high to me. I’ll need to experiment further to find the optimal range.
For now, I’ve set aside Lorenz
and Ellipse
. Those two visualizers will require more time if there’s interest in adding them.
Updated colorizer-vis
.
I forked this project because I use it and I like it
.
It inspired me to start working with mabox jgmenu
scripts, helping me understand it a bit more.
While I’m not able to maintain cli-visualizer
in the long term, I can make occasional changes—such as updating the CMake version—when needed.
GOOD NEWS.
There appeared a new maintainer for cli-visualizer-git
(vis).
The previous version was not a git.
An update is needed if cli-visualizer
is installed. To make the switch.

I took over the package and updated the PKGBUILD
to use an archive of the original source code
so that the package can be built.

Colorizer-vis
is not build for nothing at all. (fish?)
