Can I disable Ctrl+Alt+Mousewheel?

Hi guys, Iḿ Marcus and I am new to Linux. Tried a few distros and Mabox is the one  ! I was able to set up everything I need. Only one last problem I can´t solve: I use Bitwig Studio for music production and in Bitwig I need Ctrl+Alt+Mousewheel to zoom in and out of my arrange window. But Mabox overrides this and changes desktop views. How can I (or can I at all?) prevent Mabox from “stealing” Bitwigs Ctrl+Alt+MW?

Thanks guys

Hi @marcus76 and welcome to the forum
You can disable those mousebinds by editing ~/.config/openbox/rc.xml
Go to: MenuMabox ConfigRC - configuration file

Then find C-A-Up mousebind (it should be around 945 line). Remove 2 mousebinds like on screenshot…

To apply changes use MenuMabox ConfigReconfigure Openbox (or just log out and log in again).

These are the things that make me love Mabox, everything is solved with text files, and in many cases even I, who am not very knowledgeable, can do them; there are no desktops that create problems. Could we disable or not include, for example, the updates for Plasma or are they strictly necessary? I understand that we use parts of Xfce which for me is the best and simplest desktop I’ve tried, but once on OpenBox I don’t want to go back to using a desktop unless it’s strictly necessary. On the notebook I use Antix which comes with Icewm among others but it’s not the same, it doesn’t convince me. I use it because of the low resource consumption, when I installed it I found out that it doesn’t use systemd, as a user I don’t notice any difference, it consumes a little less resources than Mabox and as the notebook only has 2 gigs of ram I decided to try it, as I’m not into hopping distro, I’ll leave it as long as it works, but my heart is in Mabox.
