[Solved] Csv opens in Krita

Configuration csv opens in Krita. After removing Krita, they open in Calc. I can’t figure out how to set the preferred application for editing csv. It seems like they were opening in a console text editor when I first installed Mabox- maybe Geany? Not sure.

Hi Mabruce.

This one is very easy to fix. You can use Geany (which is great and comes preinstalled) or install some other text editor like mousepad to edit csv files:

sudo pacman -S mousepad

Then, open pcmanfm (or press Super-f) locate any csv file, right click on it and choose Open with, find your desired application and finally mark the check box at the bottom in order to set it as default.

That’s it.
