jgmenu
A simple, independent, contemporary-looking X11 menu, designed for scripting, ricing and tweaking.
Jgmenu is amazing piece of software, and Mabox 20.02 uses it in many places.
Main menu
In Mabox 20.02 Jgmenu replaced openbox menu, so we have now type-to-search functionality.
Menu can be accessed from panel icon, right click on desktop or super + space shortcut ( super key alone also works).
Hello and thank you very much for this very good distro. I would like to edit main menu and i opened prepend.csv but I only get this : @text,40,20,150,20,0,left,top,auto,#000000,ļ” @search,54,20,150,20,2,left,top,auto,#000000 0,Type to Search ^sep() . ~/.config/mabox/favorites.csv
I canāt see how delete apps in the menu with this. Is there another file, with all the menu, that i can change ?
Thank you for your help. I understood how to edit favorites, but in Mabox Control when i click on edit below apps I get a file with only this : #^sep() #Home Directory,^pipe(jgbrowser ~),user-home
There is no menu in this file that i can modify. Sorry Iām not a complete noob but not a developper either.
#!/bin/env bash
cd ~/bin/
./UltiMaker-Cura-*.AppImage
chmod +x cura
This will allow cura to start the .AppImage. But cura does not show up under jgmenu search. Is there some way we can have ~/bin indexed, or add entries to jgmenu search?
P.S. I like to make launchers for .AppImage files, because updating is as simple as copying the newer .AppImage into ~/bin and deleting the original. Note, this āwildcard-runā technique creates a small security vulnerability - do not do this on a shared or public computer.
P.P.S There is an AppImageUpdater which will attempt to update the .AppImage file itself. So you could rename the file to cura.AppImage then try to update it occasionally. But this only works with .AppImage files which have this feature enabled.
