Are there plans underway to be able to boot into Linux on an Apple computer using the M1 chip?

Is it possible to do now?

Hi.

Asahi Linux is the best project regarding the M1 chip.

Manjaro has several ARM ISOs but still no plans (that I know of) about this Apple CPU.

I will keep an eye on that project. My plans for another apple are years away at this point.

Update: this guys are also working on the subject. It’s based on FreeBSD though.
