No guide but…
You may look at [AUR (en) - brother-hl1210w](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/brother-hl1210w/)
this driver is offered also for HL-1211w and HL-1212w.
Install it by:
```auto
yay -S brother-hl1210w
```
Then try to setup your printer through CUPS Web interface available on [http://localhost:631/](http://localhost:631/)

solved with [Printing - Manjaro](https://wiki.manjaro.org/index.php/Printing#Managing_Printers_with_CUPS) , now it prints but does not save the settings of a4 eg always returns to letter size or 300 dpi returns to 600 dpi.thanks!
Solved with gestione stampa.
