# Applications on startup - plank dock

Good afternoon, I’m trying to find how to add Plank Dock when the operating system starts but I can’t find, as in other cases, graphic applications to add what I want. Could you tell me how to do it?

Just add the program at the end of that file.

Just copy `plank.desktop` file to `~/.config/autostart`

```auto
cp /usr/share/applications/plank.desktop ~/.config/autostart/

```
